Akron Stadium

Opened 2010, home of Chivas in Guadalajara

Overview

The white roof over the ring evokes a cloud drifting above a volcano, the image its architects intended. Chivas, who field only Mexican players, left the old Jalisco for this self built home in 2010. Capacity is about 49,000. It is a regular venue for national team matches in the west.
