A marvel of engineering: half the pitch retracts and rises to reveal a tennis and concert arena below. The Davis Cup finals of 2014 and 2015, France against Switzerland and then Belgium, showcased the transformable hall. Lille play before about 50,000 in football mode. Euro 2016 matches filled it to the roof.
