Overview

Carved into a hillside on the Bosphorus shore, it replaced the old Inonu Stadium on the same site. The design buries tiers into the slope, and UEFA lists it among elite venues. Besiktas title nights in 2016 and 2017 made it a fortress. Capacity is about 42,000 with some of the steepest stands in Turkey.
