Overview

A landmark of 1960s Arab engineering, its sweeping stands once made it the largest in Africa. It hosted African Cup of Nations finals across the decades, including the 2006 and 2019 tournaments. Al Ahly and Zamalek occasions move here when demand outgrows club grounds. Capacity is about 74,000.
