Overview

Nicknamed after the famous Rio bowl, it once held more than 100,000 on concrete terraces. The 1991 European Cup winning generation of Stojanovic, Prosinecki and Savicevic made it feared across Europe. The eternal derby with Partizan fills the south stands with flares. Capacity is about 53,000 after successive modernizations.
