Overview

The original athletics bowl of 1994 sat mostly idle until Atletico transformed it into a rectangular cauldron for 2017. It hosted the 2019 Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham. The design keeps stands tight to the pitch, and the club filled it for the 2021 league title celebrations. Capacity is about 70,000.
