Principality Stadium
Opened 1999 as the Millennium Stadium, national stadium of Wales in Cardiff
Overview
Built for the 1999 Rugby World Cup, its four masts and retractable roof made it an instant city landmark. While Wembley was rebuilt between 2001 and 2007, it hosted every English FA Cup final and League Cup final. Wales football internationals moved here from smaller grounds, feeding the Red Wall support. Capacity is about 74,000 with the atmosphere to fill it.
