Overview

Built for the 1998 World Cup, where France beat Brazil in the final, it seats about 80,000, the largest in France. Movable lower tiers convert it between football and athletics modes. It staged the 2003 World Athletics Championships and the athletics of the 2024 Paris Olympics, plus rugby finals and concerts without end. It stands in Saint Denis, north of the city.
