Overview

Built for the 1982 European Athletics Championships, it gained the sweeping white Calatrava roof for the 2004 Olympics, where the ceremonies and athletics ran. AEK Athens have made it their home in recent years, and Panathinaikos played European nights here for decades. Capacity is about 69,000.
