Overview

Originally the Ulrich Haberland Stadion, the ground was rebuilt in stages from the 1990s into a compact all seater arena with a capacity of about 30,000. Leverkusen reached the 2002 Champions League final, and in 2024 Xabi Alonso led the club to its first Bundesliga title without losing a league match.
