Overview

Opened in 1929 with the regional expo boom, it grew into one of the largest club grounds in Spain, about 60,000 after the Gol Sur expansion. It hosted matches of the 1982 World Cup, and the 2022 Copa del Rey celebrations flooded the city green and white. Betis support fills it whatever the division, one of the most loyal fanbases in Spain.
