Overview

Officially the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, it is Europe most storied shared club ground. The 1990 World Cup renovation wrapped it in 11 cylindrical towers reached by spiral ramps. Two clubs, two curva cultures and a century of derbies made the Della Madonnina famous. Plans for a new shared stadium have long threatened it, though renovation options keep returning to the table.
