Named after a long serving Sevilla president, the stadium in the Nervion district is famous for its passionate atmosphere and the club anthem sung before kickoff. It hosted the 1986 European Cup final, won by Steaua Bucharest on penalties against Barcelona, and matches at the 1982 World Cup. Sevilla built their run of Europa League titles on its intimidating nights.
