Overview

Molineux staged some of the first floodlit friendlies against top foreign clubs in the 1950s, when Wolves beat Honved and Spartak Moscow and newspapers hailed them as champions of the world. Those games helped inspire the creation of the European Cup. Rebuilt in the early 1990s, the ground holds about 31,700 in its gold and black stands.
