Overview

Built for the 2002 World Cup, it staged the opening match upset of France by Senegal and the semi final where Germany ended the host run. The roof evokes traditional Korean kites, rectangular sails over the stands. Capacity is about 66,000. FC Seoul anchor the year round calendar.
