Overview

The 1953 Volkspark was razed and rebuilt between 1998 and 2000, rotating the pitch 90 degrees and pulling the stands tight. HSV glory years, the 1983 European Cup era, belonged to the old bowl; the new one kept the noise. It hosted Euro 2024 matches, including a quarter final. Capacity is about 57,000.
