Overview

Known for most of its history as El Madrigal, the ground was renamed in 2017 to honor the ceramic tile industry of the region. Its capacity is large relative to the small town of Villarreal, whose Yellow Submarine reached the Champions League semifinals in 2006 and 2022. Villarreal won the Europa League in 2021, beating Manchester United on penalties.
