Overview

The old Neckarstadion opened in 1933 and has been rebuilt era by era into the current arena. It staged matches at the 1974 and 2006 World Cups, the 1988 European Championship, and the 2006 third place match. Euro 2024 brought the world back. Capacity is about 60,000.
