Overview

Built in the heart of the northern French coalfield, the stadium has a capacity close to the population of Lens itself. Its fans are renowned for filling every seat and for singing Les Corons, a song about mining life, at half time. It hosted matches at the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2016 after renovation.
