Overview

Nicknamed Le Chaudron, the cauldron, for its intense atmosphere, the stadium was the stage for the great green Saint-Etienne team of the 1970s that reached the 1976 European Cup final. It hosted matches at Euro 84, the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2016. A distinctive mining heritage runs through the club and the city around it.
